First look: Meet Madhav Jha aka Arjun Kapoor from Half Girlfriend
Mumbai: Arjun Kapoor's upcoming film 'Half Girlfriend', based on Chetan Bhagat's best-seller by the same name, is all set to go on floors today (June 8). The film directed by Mohit Suri stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role.
Chetan introduced Arjun's character, Madhav Jha, who is a national-level basketball player. He wrote, "Hi Guys, Meet Madhav Jha. #HalfGirlfriend starts shoot today in Delhi. ATB @mohit11481 @arjunk26 @ShraddhaKapoor !"

Arjun has been training with an international basketball team to learn the moves of the game. Given the director's track record of successful films, people have their hopes pinned on this one too. On the other hand, Chetan's previous film adaptations, '3 Idiots', 'Kai Po Che' and '2 States', didn't fail to rake in moolah at the Box Office.
According to reports, the movie will be shot in Patna, Delhi, Rajasthan, Cape Town and New York.
