Watch: In the pretext of method acting, Varun Dhawan downs 12 pegs on Badri set!

Mumbai: That Varun Dhawan is a passionate actor is known to all. But, he took method acting to a whole new level while filming an emotional scene between him and Alia Bhatt’s character Vaidehi. It so happened that the otherwise professional actor drank good 12 pegs as Badri’s character loves alcohol and Varun wanted to do justice to the part.

In the behind the scenes video released by Badri team, it is seen that Varun is literally out of his mind. If that wasn’t enough, after the completion of the shot Alia had to hold Varun as he was struggling with his steps.

Commitment towards work gone wrong? Seems like.

On a more serious note, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ releases on March 10. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the trailer and songs of the movie has earned rave reviews both from critics as well as audience.
