Neil and Rukmini are quite the gorgeous couple during their pre-wedding ceremony

Mumbai: Neil Nitin Mukesh is all set to tie the knot with fiancé Rukmini Sahay. On February 7, the pre-wedding festivities commenced on a high note, in a plush hotel of Udaipur, with ring ceremony followed by the Mehendi function. The guests were welcomed with rose petal showers from the towering balconies of Radisson Blu Hotel.

The function kick-started late in the evening with a decor dominated by an English vintage garden theme. Adding flavour to the night was Neil's father Nitin who sang ‘Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai’ during his thanksgiving speech. Everyone delivered a touching speech that took close family and friends down memory lane.

Neil Nitin Mukesh states, "It is brilliant to see the family getting together. I'd like to call the big fat family get together rather than the big fat Punjabi family. It all just feels like a family holiday"

Neil also went down on his knee and proposed to Rukmini. The actor's lady love also played a perfect sport and responded to his romantic gesture with a beautiful speech. The ring ceremony was followed by cake cutting and some Bollywood dance.

The couple will wed in the presence of close friends and family on February 9. The reception to be held on the 17th of February at JW Marriot will be a grand affair that will see the who’s who of Bollywood.

The second day saw Rishi Kapoor and Pamela Chopra join them in the Sangeet ceremony.
