Alia thinks Sonam's Neerja' act was better than hers in 'Udta Punjab'?

Mumbai: The year is coming to an end and there were several performances in the year that has grabbed attention, by both the male and female actors. Alia Bhatt’s performance in ‘Udta Punjab’ and Sonam Kapoor’s in ‘Neerja’ were among the most appreciated performances by female actors.

The award season would be coming up at the start of the new year, and the two actresses would be vying for the best actress award.

At Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’, Alia was asked if her 'Udta Punjab' act was the performance of the year and if she felt her performance was better than Sonam’s performance in 'Neerja'?

Alia said, “Honestly, I think that Sonam was very good in ‘Neerja’.”

When she was asked later, if she would be upset with not bagging the best actress, she said, “I will be upset. Not upset but I would be like ‘why not?”.

It would be interesting to see who will eventually win the award.
