Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput blessed with baby boy after daughter Misha

Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira are over the moon. On Wednesday night, they became proud parents of a baby boy. They already have a two-year-old daughter, Misha.

A string of well-wishers arrived at the hospital to congratulate the couple, the first among them were Shahid’s mother and actress Neelima Azim, and his brother Ishaan Khattar, who recently made his Bollywood debut in Karan Johar’s Dhadak.

Neelima could barely contain her joy and excitement. Says the rapturous grandma, “I feel on top of the world. God bless the couple and their children. Now my elder son’s family is complete. I feel very emotional about it and am profoundly happy.”

Neelima is delighted at the prospect of little Misha having a brother. “My jaan Misha has her own baby brother now. She is a wonderful little girl and she will be a very caring didi (elder sister). To be a grandma a second time, I can’t express my happiness. I feel gloriously blessed. God is very kind.”

Neelima is a hands-on grandmother who spends a lot of time with Misha. Ishaan too shares a great rapport with his niece. “Both my boys take good care of me. I share a terrific bonding with both my sons and they are very close to one another,” she concludes.
