Ranveer Singh denies film with Deepika Padukone and Vidhu Vinod Chopra

Ranveer Singh met with Vidhu Vinod Chopra a few days ago and so did Deepika Padukone. Soon, rumours of them working together started doing the rounds. Deepika’s hectic schedule with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati and her Hollywood commitments were the reason she was not signing any Bollywood films. Her western project was xXx: Return of the Xander Cage.

But now, Ranveer’s PR team vehemently denies that Ranveer has signed or even discussed a project with Vinod Chopra. “I checked with him, and there is no truth to this at all,” says Ranveer’s spokesperson.

Incidentally, even Ranbir Kapoor met Vidhu recently. While one understands Ranbir meeting Chopra because they are working together on Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, we wonder what casual meetings take place at the office between actors and filmmakers who have no intention of working together.
