WWE star Rachael Evans has revealed how she was the victim of a hit and run by a drunk driver while travelling home from work, according to WrestlingInc.com
The 26-year-old is one of the most promising wrestlers on the NXT roster. But her career – and potentially life — escaped intact after the shocking incident occurred in Florida after she had been honing her skills at WWE’s Performance Centre.
Evans broke the news on Twitter, saying, “Let me start by saying this: I am ok. I was hit by a drunk driver today on my way home from the PC. Hit and run. I’m extremely thankful it was my passengers side that was hit. “Some people aren’t so lucky-please DONT DRINK AND DRIVE.”
Despite the shock of the traumatic collision, Evans claimed she chased down the culprit and managed to get a photo of them and their vehicle’s number plate.
