Exclusive: Sanjay Dutt's Torbaaz director shoots down reports of film getting delayed

After wrapping up the shoot of his comeback project Bhoomi, Sanjay Dutt was in the news for Torbaaz. However, he announced Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3.

Later, there were speculations that Torbaaz was postponed, but the film’s director Girish Malik reveals they were scheduled to shoot the film in winter.

“Since we wanted to film in winter, across the globe, we locked the locations accordingly. So, there is no question of a delay. It’s a movie, which is high on VFX. We are mounting the film on an epic scale,” says Girish.

He adds, “Torbaaz is a universal story so apart from the Bollywood release, we are finalising some big deals with the US team for a global release.”

The action-thriller set in Afghanistan is a story about child suicide bombers. Sanjay Dutt will be playing a father to a young child in the film.
