The first look launch of Housefull-3 saw the entire star cast in attendance, from Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and Jackie Shroff to Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon.
While the ladies stood around looking pretty, it was good old Jackie Dada who stole the show. Talking about Abhishek Bachchan, he said, “I remember I was shooting for a film way back in the 90’s and my boy informed me that two sweet little kids wanted to meet their favourite star, me… I was really excited and thought “Bhidoo, ab toh main star ban gaya. The two kids were Abhishek Bachchan and his sister… I was very happy and they made me realise that I had become a star.”
Abhishek intervened: “I remember we were very fond of Jackie Dada, he was my favourite star and was the first person who I wanted to meet desperately. In those days we would try to tie a bandana on our heads and play the flute (like in Jackie’s debut film Hero) and behave like him. We would also imitate his dialogues.”
Abhishek also heaped praises on the ladies. About Nargis Fakhri he said, “She speaks very bad Hindi like me (smiles), but she works very hard and hence has made it this far in the industry.” About Jacqueline Fernandez, he said, “She is doing a wonderful job in Hindi films — she is very beautiful and a great actor and dancer.”
Jackie was also all praises for Akshay Kumar. He said, “Yeh bhidoo bahut shaana actor hai (he is a smart actor). He is a very talented actor.”
