Blackmail box office collection: Irrfan's film rakes in 2.81 crore on opening day
Mumbai: Irrfan's latest release 'Blackmail' has raked in Rs 2.81 crore on the first day of its release on Friday.

Noted trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the collection of Irrfan starrer black conedy. He wrote, “#Blackà ¤®à ¥‡à ¤² had a slow start in morning shows, but gathered momentum post evening at plexes [like most metro-centric movies]… Sat and Sun biz is crucial… Will give an idea of how strong it will sustain on weekdays… Fri ₹ 2.81 cr. India biz.”

A little growth is expected over the weekend and it could be good growth on Saturday but the film has a long to way to go and will need a very solid Monday to get respectable collections number.
Directed by Abhinay Deo, 'Blackmail' also stars Kirti Kulhari, Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh and Omi Vaidya in pivotal roles.
