As a new kid on the block Sheehan Dixit readies for his Bollywood debut, he’s got a vote of confidence from none other than his famous aunt, Madhuri. Yes, Sheehan, who is Madhuri Dixit-Nene’s nephew, has her blessings as he ventures into the film industry.
“Sheehan had come to me asking for advice about his career. He has certainly inherited the acting gene, which is a blessing,” Madhuri told us when we asked her about Sheehan’s filmi plans.
The proud aunt also asserted that while Sheehan had her full support, any achievements would be purely his own. “(He knows that) he can approach me any time for advice. But I’ve also asked him to achieve success on his own, to pave his path and establish his credentials,” Madhuri said.
Sheehan, who worked in the animation field, told us that the decision to get into films was a natural one. “I am just following my passion,” he said. “I couldn’t keep myself away from what is in my DNA and what I love, so here I am — chasing my dreams to make them come true!”
Not-yet-a-film-old, Sheehan already exudes confidence and asserted that while he had “waited in the aisle a long time to see (himself) on the big screen” he wouldn’t just take up any project. “Quality over quantity” would be his motto, Sheehan said.
As for his debut film, he didn’t give out too many details. “I can’t reveal any details as of now, but I will share them soon,” Sheehan said. “I have signed a film with a big production house.”
