A past trespass, if one can call it that, has surfaced to bite Swara Bhaskar from behind. In a video, now going virulently viral, she’s heard using a Hindi expletive
at a child while on the chat show, Son Of Abish.
The child apparently called her as ‘Aunty’, something that did not go down well with Swara. So she referred to him as “chu**ya” and “Kameena”. While Swara
remained unavailable for comment, one of her close friends has defended her, saying the actress generally doesn’t speak the language she used against the
child. “I think the whole episode was meant to be a joke. In bad taste, we agree. But still a joke,” says the friend.
However the social media has not responded kindly to the ‘joke’, sparing no effort in severely slamming the actress. The hashtags #Swara_aunty and
#SwaraAunty have been trending with twitterati calling out the actress for her shameful behaviour.
A fierce advocate of social justice, Swara may now, ironically, have to face the wrath of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, too, because it
has filed a complaint against her.
