'We should have a sense of humour': Aditya Roy Kapur on Mohammad Rafi-ADHM row

The actor came out in support of Karan Johar who's being accused of insulting the legendary singer in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.

Mumbai: Aditya Roy Kapur has come out in support of Karan Johar over the boiling Mohammed Rafi row.

In a particular scene from the film, Anushka Sharma has now infamously mouthed, "Mohammed Rafi gaate nahi, rote the."

The legendary singer’s son, Shahid Rafi had taken major offence and a lot of celebrities had come out criticising it.

"Well, I would just say that, if anyone made fun of me, not to say that I am Mohammad Rafi, I would take it lightly. We should have a sense of humour, it is all said in fun," Aditya said.

His last release was the intense ‘Fitoor’ opposite Katrina Kaif but he hasn’t been sitting idle. The tall actor will next be seen as a part of Gauri Shinde’s ensemble in the SRK-Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Dear Zindagi,’ but he’s been investing more of his time into ‘OK Jaanu’.

The Shaad Ali directorial, which sees Aditya re-uniting with rumoured ex-flame Shraddha Kapoor, is an official remake of Mani Ratnam’s ‘OK Kanmani,’ which had starred Nithya Menen and Dulquer Salmaan.

The actor is extremely kicked about doing a breezy relaxing role, after a while. The AR Rahman, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is slated for a January, 2017 release.
