Taapsee Pannu is known to speak her mind without hesitation, which perhaps makes her different from the rest of them. Taapsee, who is now busy promoting her film Misson Mangal says one should not lose hope on the #MeToo movement.
While a lot of actors accused in the #MeToo movement have been given clean chits, actress Taapsee is still hopeful. “The industry was not ready for #MeToo at that moment, and it suddenly exploded. It can’t change overnight, but does that mean we need to give up on it? No, because then future generations will also keep going through it.”
“There will be times when you will fail badly, but will not be in vain, if you don’t give up. One fine day it will give results and then our future generation will not face this. For that sake, we have to be strong,” she opines.
