Vikas-Ashwini join hands While next year has some real life and strong women-oriented films making their way to the audience, it will also offer great digital content. Vikas Bahl, who is busy with Super 30 and Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, who is working with Kangana as well as Alia Bhatt, have been roped in by Phantom Films to create a big show for one of the digital giants.
“All the big makers who have a story to tell and which is not necessarily for the theatre-going audience are looking at telling those stories quickly for the digital medium.
Both Vikas and Ashwini are excited because they will direct some episodes each and the series has a limited number of episodes each season,” says an insider.
Sources add that a couple of big names will be added as actors in the project and the web series is being planned for Amazon Prime Video India.
