Mahesh Balekundri's Fever hits screens worldwide
Belagavi on the Maharashtra border may not have the glamour of Mumbai, but it does have some talented people who can earn it a place in filmdom.
The Bollywood movie, Fever, that hit screens the world over on Friday, is produced by Belagavi’s Mahesh Balekundri, a singer and businessman. The film features some talented actors from Bollywood and is expected to be a big hit.
Written and directed by Rajeev Jhaveri, the film is a suspense thriller, says Mahesh while recalling some of his tough experiences with the film crew during its shoot.
After his successful production of several Kannada films, including ‘Jinkemari and ‘9 to 12’, Mahesh ventured into Bollywood with a lot of hope to make it big in the Hindi film industry.
The film was shot in Switzerland and showcases some of the fabulous scenic spots in that country. Fever features three beautiful women - Bollywood star Gauhar Khan, Gemma Atkinson, ex-girlfriend of Cristiano Ronaldo and Bond girl of Casino Royale fame Caterina Murino.
Music directors are Ranjit Barot, Tanishk Bagchi, Tony Kakkar, Onesia Rithner, Rahul Bhatt, Faizan-Agnel, Shamir Tandon, Jacelyn Parry and Rahul Jain. Singers Arijit Singh and Neha Kakkar have done their best to add to film’s beauty, says Mahesh.
