Ranveer to unveil his wax statue at Grevin Wax Museum in Paris today
Mumbai: There is no end to birthday boy Ranveer Singh’s list of accomplishments. After rendering back-to-back hits, the actor is all set to fly down to Paris, where he shot his last outing with Yash Raj Films ‘Befikre’, to unveil his wax statue at the Grevin Wax Museum.
Whoa! Ranveer gifts himself plush car on birthday, goes vroom with ladylove Deepika
No other Bollywood star, except for superstar Shah Rukh Khan, can boast of having a statue at the aforementioned museum.
Last year, while filming the Aditya Chopra-directed rom-com opposite Vaani Kapoor in Paris, the energetic actor’s measurements were taken. Talking about this experience, he had said, “It’s a truly special birthday present and one that will always bring back beautiful memories of Paris. I love all things French, and am grateful to the museum that they have given me a permanent place in wax in their home and their hearts.”

The colour of his skin, hair and even eyes were recorded by the artists and his hands were also moulded. The only problem that was encountered by the sculptor was to capture the exact contours of his face since he was sporting a thick beard for his upcoming period drama ‘Padmavati’ at that time, where he plays the role of 16th century tyrant Alauddin khilji.
Finally! Ranveer Singh's look from Padmavati is out and it's menacing!
Ranveer has even donated one of his own outfits for the wax statue.
The actor, who has turned 32 today, will fly down to Paris to unveil the wax statue.
