Ranbir on Aadar's debut: Don't know if my kids will join films, so this is my moment

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor, who is on a promotional spree with Katrina Kaif for their film ‘Jagga Jasoos,’ managed to take some time out to introduce new talent of Yash Raj Films, his cousin Aadar Jain.

While Aadar was engaged in his first ever interaction with the media on Wednesday, Ranbir stood rock-solid besides him, like any other brother, and kept guiding him with the dos and don’ts to stay cordial with the media.

The proud brother, while introducing a-bit-nervous Aadar to the media said, “I don't know if my daughter or son will join films, so this is my moment.”

When Ranbir was asked if he would give any advice or has already given one to Aadar on entering this extremely challenging and bumpy world of Bollywood, he said that he gave him none.

"I guess everyone has to make their own journey. Whatever I tell Aadar, I tell him the dos and don't, it doesn't matter. Till he doesn't fall himself, he wouldn't be able to rise. Until he sees his first success himself, he won't be able to take pride. I don't like to give any advice. We are in such an industry where it has to be your decision, your gut feeling, and everything," said the actor whose first film ‘Saawariya’ was a flop, but is now touted as one of the most talented actors of Bollywood.

Aadar Jain is the grandson of veteran filmmaker-actor- The Late Raj Kapoor.
