Katrina and Salman pay a quick visit to US consulate before flying off to NYC
Mumbai: The 18th edition of International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) is definitely going to be bigger and better. Scheduled to take place in the magnificent city of New York, on July 14, the star-studded event will witness smashing performances by Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, to name a few.

The event will be live streamed in India.
But before flying off to New York, former lovers and now good friends Salman and Kats went to the US consulate and received tips on how to travel from the marines. The official Twitter handle of the US Consulate Mumbai has cute pictures of Bhai and Katrina posing with the Marines.

Both the stars will be seen together in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, which is a sequel to 2012 blockbuster ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.

While Salman’s last outing ‘Tubelight’ with director Kabir Khan tanked at the box office, Katrina is gearing up for the release of her detective drama ‘Jagga Jasoos’ with rumoured former beau Ranbir Kapoor.
The film is slated to release on July 14.
