Priyanka Chopra\'s mom Madhu finally reveals why Siddharth called off his wedding

Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra's younger brother Siddharth Chopra, who was supposed to get married by the end of April with Ishita Kumar, called off the wedding. Priyanka's mom Madhu Chopra recently revealed the reason behind the cancellation of the wedding.

Madhu told SpotBoye that it was because Siddharth wasn't ready for marriage just yet. "My son Siddharth said he was not ready for marriage yet. He explained he needed more time," SpotBoye quoted Madhu Chopra as saying.

After their roka ceremony in February, Siddharth and fiancee Ishita were supposed to marry on 30 April. The roka event was attended by both Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas. Priyanka (sans Nick) was in Mumbai last month, when it was reported it was for her brother's wedding but she flew out of the city soon.

Interestingly, Ishita has deleted all pictures of the ceremony from her Instagram handle and has also unfollowed Siddharth on social media. Subsequently, she shared a picture of herself, hinting at ‘new beginnings and beautiful endings’.

4 years back, Siddharth was supposed to tie nuptial knot with his longtime girlfriend, Kanika Mathur. That wedding too was called off for unknown reason.
