Exclusive: Priyanka to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next directorial

Mumbai: Much as we would like to see it happen, there is no truth to reports of Priyanka Chopra teaming up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali immediately.

A source in the know reveals, “When Priyanka was in town last month, she did meet up with Sanjay. They share a very special friendship. She discusses every topic in the sun with the 'Bajirao Mastani' director.

"In fact, Sanjay too is closer to Priyanka than any of the actors that he has worked with lately. Their friendship goes beyond professional collaborations,” added the source.

So are Sanjay and PeeCee likely to work together soon?

“Of course they will work together! But not immediately,” reveals the source, adding, “Sanjay will complete Padmavati before he takes on any other assignment.

His next directorial project, whatever it might be, will feature Priyanka.”
