Not cancer, Vinod Khanna hospitalised for severe dehydration

Mumbai: Rumours of veteran actor Vinod Khanna being diagnosed with bladder cancer had been floating around after an image of a debilitated Khanna went viral.

However, the hospital's official spokesperson has sent out a statement clarifying that Vinod had been owing to severe dehydration.

Mr. Vinod Khanna was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation hospital on Friday with severe dehydration. He is under the care of our doctors and has responded positively to the treatment and is now stable. His family thanks his well wishers for the good wishes and requests to respect their privacy," said , Tushar Puniya, spokesperson of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital.

Earlier, it had been reported that Khanna had been admitted on April 2.
