Sidharth, Manoj starrer Aiyaary delayed, to not clash with Akshay's PadMan
Mumbai: Deccan Chronicle had earlier informed you that ‘Aiyaary’ might not release in the week of PadMan’s release. The same has now been confirmed by trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
Taran took to Twitter to declare that Neeraj Pandey’s Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee starrer ‘Aiyaary’ has been delayed by a week, which means it will release on 16th February. Here’s his tweet:
It’s CONFIRMED... #Aiyaary shifted to 16 Feb 2018.

The movie failed to get CBFC certificate, and once the defence ministry saw the film, they suggested certain changes, which only when implemented, the movie can get its release. This move seems to be the real reason behind the movie’s delay, and of course, it is always better for Akshay Kumar’s ‘PadMan’ as well, since that movie will have a solo release.
Guess Akshay Kumar’s good karma (delaying his movie to let ‘Padmaavat’ get a solo release) came back to him (as ‘Aiyaary’ makers also had to shift their release date to give ‘PadMan’ a solo release).
