Mumbai: Anushka Sharma had a phenomenal in 2016, with both her releases, 'Sultan' and 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,' raked in immense moolah.
The actress, who debuted as a producer, with the critical and commercial success, 'NH10,' is back again with her second production, 'Phillauri'.
And believe it or not, she plays a ghost who accidentally gets married to an unsuspecting youngster! Quirky, right?
The film, which has a phenomenally in-form Suraj Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh playing a musician and Anushka's love interest in sequences that seem like flashbacks, has a charmingly earthy aura to it, much like its ironically pristine ghost.
The hilarious trailer, whose plot had been under the wraps for the longest time, might remind one of Amitabh Bachchan's 'Bhoothnath,' but comes across as fresh, courtesy its spot-on situational humour.
Helmed by Anshia Lal, 'Phillauri' hits the theatres on March 24.
