Mumbai: It is a story that will surely touch many hearts. After all we call her the ‘Queen of Bollywood’ for a season. When she was 18, long before her Bollywood debut, Kangana Ranaut ran into a man who was doing gymnastics at Juhu Beach. Impressed, she asked the man, Surya Narayan Singh, to teach her how to do what he was doing. Since then, the actor has been learning yoga from Singh.
As per bankable sources, it is learnt that the actor has gifted her two-bedroom apartment in Andheri (W) to Singh in a bid to help him start a yoga centre. “The apartment has a spacious balcony, where the yoga classes will be conducted,” said the source close to her.
As per market estimations, Kangana’s apartment is worth more than Rs 2 crore. “It’s a kind gesture from Kangana, but she feels it’s her ‘guru dakshina’ to Singh, who has been a pillar of strength in her life right from the start. He has never asked her for anything like that, but the actor felt that she should do something for him,” the close source adds further.
Kangana isn’t just gifting Singh the posh apartment. The actor is apparently also helping him refurbish the place so it looks like “a nice yoga centre”. “In fact, Kangana visited the apartment a few days ago to instruct the contractor how to design and redo the house,” the source confirmed. The actor is ensuring the proposed centre will have everything that is needed, from personal lockers to health amenities. “Since she will be recommending the yoga centre to everyone, the actor wants everything to be of high quality. She has always been sensitive to people around her,” says the insider.
This is not the first time that the Queen has shown such warm gesture and. In the past, Kangana had also gifted another two-bedroom apartment to her sister, Rangoli Chandel, when the latter got married. This proves that she is not only a perfect actor but also a perfect sister.
