Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are set to join hands again, soon. The team from the Golmaal franchise is set to reunite for the big boss of Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd Harshad Mehta, popularly known as Rajbhai to the film industry. Rajbhai was earlier arrested under a financial fraud case and is now out of jail.
Ashtavinayak had bankrolled Golmaal and Bol Bachchan among other films and had given Rohit Shetty a lot of freedom to make his films.
As a quid pro quo, both Ajay and Rohit are now getting together to do a film for Ashtavinayak this year itself.
“Rohit will be free after Suryavanshi with Akshay Kumar, and is now preparing for a quickie with Ajay which he will make for Rajbhai. In fact, it is even being said that Rohit and Ajay will not charge any fees for the film and make it in the lowest possible cost to help Rajbhai stand on his feet again. Rohit and Ajay owe a lot of Rajbhai for the kind of backing they received during the early days of Ashtavinayak and they want to pay back now,” says a source.
