From Padmapati to Padmavati: Check out Shahid's quirky birthday wish to Deepika!

Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor surely knows how to create buzz around him, be it his alleged past relationships or revelations in a coffee show. He has once again managed to grab media’s attention when he lovingly wished his co-star Deepika Padukone on her birthday on Twitter.

The actor, who is playing Deepika’s husband as Rana Rawal Ratan Singh in ‘Padmavati’, made up his own word Padmapati to match with the title of their film and jokingly used it to wish the leggy lass.

Shahid and Deepika will be sharing screen for the first time in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, ‘Padmavati’ alongside talented Ranveer Singh. In a recent interview Shahid expressed his excitement working with his co-stars. The movie is set to release this year in November.
