Mumbai: Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty, who will be coming together for the first time to co-judge an acting talent hunt, India’s Next Superstar, will also be co-producing a film. Their joint venture will also be the launchpad of the winner of the reality show. The upcoming Star Plus show is being promoted with an interesting catchphrase 'Na khandaan, na sifarish... Bollywood ko hai sirf talent ka intezaar'.
A source said, “Earlier, the winner was to get launched by Karan’s production house with whom there would be a three-film deal, but now it has changed. Karan and Rohit, who have been bonding during the promo shoot, have now decided to collaborate on a film and launch the winner.”
While speaking about the show, the 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' director earlier said, "The love a movie star gets is amazing so being a part of it has been a dream for many and this show gives aspiring actors a shot at realising their dreams. I'm delighted to embark on the journey to find the superstars of tomorrow."
The shooting of the show kicks off in December and will go on air in January next year. TV actors Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani will probably host this reality show.
