Watch: Like Aamir, Dangal girls sweat blood to perfect their wrestling act

Mumbai: A wrestling biopic isn't the easist of films to make, and if it's an Aamir Khan film, the need for perfection would be borderline.

Aamir, who plays Mahavir Phogat in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Dangal,' stunned everyone with the revelation of his weight gain and consequent loss, to play the older and younger selves of Mahavir.

However, the latest making video of the film, it's been revealed that the girls didn't have it any easy either.

Fatima Sana Sheikh, Zaira Wasim, Sania Malhotra and Suhani Malhotra had to go through gruelling training sessions, in preparation for their roles as Geeta and Babita, the sisters who won gold and silver medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Such was their exertion to give their on-screen performances credence, that on most days, they'd end up bruised, battered and in tears.

The film is scheduled to release on December 23.
