Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to reunite with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali after over a decade. The duo has earlier given hits like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and Khamoshi: The Musical. Salman was also a part of Bhansali's 'Saawariya', a film that launched Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in 2007. Its been over 10 years since we have seen them working together.
Recently, there was buzz that the two will reportedly work together in a film titled Inshallah. At the launch of Bigg Boss 12 in Goa, Salman confirmed that he will be doing a film with 'Guzaarish' director.
He said, “Yes, I am doing Sanjay’s film. I don’t know much about it. Have only heard a one-liner about it. But Sanjay is not answering my calls. Please ask him to speak to me.”
Meanwhile, Bhansali produced and directed blockbuster like 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela' with Ranveer Singh and his favourite Deepika Padukone in 2013. Post that, the trio went on to give two mega hits - 'Bajirao Mastani' (2015) and ‘Padmaavat’ (2018). It's been speculated that Bhansali is keen to work with Miss Padukone in his next film too. Deepika has not yet announced any of her Bollywood films, albeit she is certainly on look out for more exciting projects. Bhansali, who has penchant for introducing fresh pair in his films might just approach Deepika to star opposite Khan. If this casting coup happens, the film will mark an on-screen debut of Salman-Deepika's stunning pair.
However, neither Salman nor Bhansali have revealed anything about their next film together, but fans are already excited to know more about the forthcoming project.
