Mahesh Babu, like many other actors these days, is investing in other business ventures. On August 7 he will be announcing the launch of his own clothes label. A source close to Mahesh Babu reveals, “The clothes, reflecting Mahesh’s own easy casual approach to dressing up, will be named the Humble Collection. The idea is to let his fans have access to the kind of clothes he wears without making a dent in the buyer’s pocket.”
Mahesh Babu’s clothes label is in partnership with the leading garment manufacturer Spoyl. Sources say the initiative to start his own line of clothes came to Mahesh Babu from the garment manufacturers who felt the actor represented the aspirations of a very strong section of the youth.
Says a source close to Mahesh, “We want the clothes label to eventually become a strong and durable legacy of Mahesh’s stardom.”
Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar will be creatively involved with the project.
