Katrina Kaif, who stepped into Priyanka Chopra’s role after her sudden departure from Bharat, doesn’t think she’s doing the film’s team a favour. “I don’t see it that way. Ali (director Ali Abbas Zafar) is a dear friend of mine. I have worked with him in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Tiger Zinda Hai, both of which were great experiences and successful films. He called me and said, ‘Goldfish,’ he calls me Goldfish, not Katrina, ‘read the script and tell me.’ I read the script and I liked it. I’m happy to be a part of the film,” the actress says.
Katrina adds that her decision to do the film is motivated purely by its storyline. “All my film choices have been made based on the script and the character. I’m excited to be working with Ali’s team again,” she says, making no mention of the film’s hero, Salman Khan.
