Legendary actor Dilip Kumar, who was hospitalised on Wednesday evening, continues to remain in Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai following urine infection and dehydradation, but a close friend of the family reveals that he’s very much stable.
“He’s stable, but he’s still in the ICU, as they have to monitor him. He’s 94, so he’s under observation. Nothing to worry,” explains Udaya Tara Nayar, a close friend of Dilip and Saira Banu, as well as his biographer.
While there have been reports that the actor is on the ventilator, Udaya has denied them categorically. “No, it’s not true at all. He’s not on ventilator. He’s recovering, but it will take some time,” she added.
