Soha Ali Khan has recently joined hands with the Mahindra Hariyali campaign, which works towards climate change awareness and builds a case for tree plantation.

“There is also a time crunch because we only have 11 years before the impact of climate becomes irreversible. It’s something that we need to do for ourselves,” Soha says.
She says that she is also sharing her passion for the environment with her daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. “One of the books that my daughter loves right now is called The Great Kapok Tree. It’s about a person who goes to the forest to cut a tree, and how the animals come and try to explain to him why that is bad,” she reveals.
“Now she understands and she says we shouldn’t cut the trees. From a young age, it’s important to keep a message for the younger generation. You can minimize the use of the AC; in our farmhouse we have solar panels; we work a lot towards our environment,” the actress concludes....
