Joke Akshay made while postponing Pad Man for Bhansali's Padmaavat all set to be true

On Republic Day this year, when we were to witness Padman and Padmaavat clash at the box office, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Akshay Kumar took a careful decision and averted the clash. Surprisingly, the two held a joint press conference announcing the delay in Padman’s release to facilitate Padmaavat.

Sanjay and Akshay are indeed coming together for an encore to their 2012 hit, Rowdy Rathore. Prabhudheva who directed the first film will be directing the sequel as well. Rowdy Rathore 2 would not be a remake of a Telugu film. It will be based on an original script. Akshay will return as Inspector Vikram Rathod who has serious temper management issues. The rest of the cast is yet to be decided,” says a source.
