This is the second time that death reports of veteran actress Mumtaz has surfaced on the Internet.
On Friday, rumours of Mumtaz’s death floated about once again, and this time her daughter Tanya Madhvani rubbished these reports.
Tanya, who is Mumtaz’s younger daughter, posted a video of herself on Instagram in which she said that her mother was fine and also sent her mom’s love to all her fans. She captioned the video, “So exhausting another rumour of my mother’s death. She is healthy and looking beautiful as always and has asked me to let her fans know she is well! It's all rubbish.”
In the video, she is heard saying, “Hi, this is just a post to say that my mother is fine. She is in London. Komal Nahta has started some rumours and do not listen to them. She's sending her love and kiss to you all.”
Mumtaz, 70, lives in London with her family.
On friday, trade analyst Komal Nahta posted about Mumtaz’s death on Twitter, but soon after that he deleted it and apologized for it.
