Salman and Kabir team up for the third time, block Eid 2017 for release
Mumbai: After the massive success of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, Kabir Khan is all set to collaborate with Salman Khan for the third time. The filmmaker-actor duo had teamed up for the first time for Ek Tha Tiger (2012).
During the promotions of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman had announced this third collaboration. He had said, "If Bajrangi made you cry, we hope to do the same with our third film as well. That also has an emotional story. We have discussed it."
Salman has often mentioned that Kabir brings out the best in him and that he has a vision which helps in making all his films extra special.
Now, in an interesting turn of events, they have locked the Eid 2017 release date. The two will start shooting for the film by the end of this year.

Over the years, Eid has become a significant landmark to release films. Considering the fact, Salman Khan is observed to have released many of his blockbusters- 'Kick', 'Bodyguard', 'Dabangg', 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Wanted', on this auspicious day. In fact, his next film Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Sultan' starring Anushka Sharma is set to release on Eid this year.
Salman's last film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ performed exceedingly and went on to become the actor's highest grosser in the overseas market till date. Cumulatively, the film stood at a monumental gross figure of Rs 606 crore at the worldwide box office.
