Shraddha Kapoor's aunt Padmini Kolhapure is all set to do more films
Mumbai: Veteran actress Padmini Kolhapure is back with vigour. She was last seen as Shahid Kapoor’s mother in 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero' in 2013, but is now ready to take on more films.
“I did Phata Poster… because I like the work of the director Rajkumar Santoshi, and wanted to work with him someday. The script was also good. I’m now doing a film in Marathi as well, and then there are talks of another Hindi and Bengali film,” she explains.
But having started a fashion label recently, Padmini smiles as she talks about her movie career. “Acting will always be my first love,” says the actress, who started her career as a child artiste in movies like Satyam Shivam Sundaram and Dream Girl.
Meanwhile Padmini, who happens to be Shraddha Kapoor’s aunt, is also quite appreciative of her career. “She’s doing good work and sings very well too. Her mother Shivangi, who is also my sister, has been singing since childhood. And she’s as melodious as her mother,” smiles Padmini.
