Mumbai: While everyone was bringing in the New Year cheer with late night parties and getaway holidays, the team of Omung Kumar's 'Bhoomi' was busy putting final touches to Sanjay Dutt's comeback film. And leading the team was the music composer duo of Sachin-Jigar.
Tucked away in Lonalva the two were burning the midnight oil coming up with an offering of songs that will be memorable. 'It is a delight to work with Omung and Sandeep because they understand music.
“One needs that musical connection to compose lyrical memories,” said Sachin Jigar. From a pure melody, to a love song, to a sufi number and a qawwali with even an out and out dance number, 'Bhoomi's musical offering sounds like real music to the ears. “Sanjay Dutt's comeback film should have the best music possible and we thought no one better than Sachin-Jigar,” adds producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.
Directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Sandeep Singh, 'Bhoomi' is a revenge drama that centres around a father daughter relationship. The film will be shot entirely in Uttar Pradesh.
