Is Pooja Hegde the next Parineeti Chopra or Kareena Kapoor Khan?

Mumbai: Award shows are just around the corner and while everyone is prepping for the red carpet and making their own lists of possible award winners; we had one actress constantly hovering around our mind for the female debutant category. It’s none other than the beautiful actress Pooja Hegde. She is definitely a strong contender for the category even though her first Bollywood film, ‘Mohenjo Daro’, alongside Hrithik Roshan failed at the box office. Pooja’s strong and graceful performance didn’t go unnoticed. This reminds us of two other actors, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Parineeti Chopra, who ended up making it big despite the fact that their debut films bombed at the box office.

"While in most cases, we've seen newbies recognized for their successful film debuts, we have seen standout cases like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Parineeti Chopra won best debut awards irrespective of their movies- Refugee and Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl, not doing well at the box office. Both the films, much like ‘Mohenjo Daro’, were also one of the most anticipated films of their respective years," said an industry analyst.

Can we expect Pooja to follow on Kareena and Parineeti's footsteps, given all the appreciation she has received for her performance? Only time will tell us that.
