Sonali Bendre who was undergoing her treatment in New York returned to Mumbai on Monday morning and greeted the waiting paparazzi with a smile and folded hands. The former actress was accompanied by her husband Goldie Bahl.
“It’s been six months now and Sonali is doing good. Thanks for all the support. She has completed her treatment and she is fine now. With such diseases, you need to do regular check-ups and scans because this is such a disease which can come back anytime,” says Goldie Bahl.
“Now we don’t have to go to New York. Right now, she is fine and I am happy that she is back home. She is not on any medication. Sonali is a very strong determined woman. I am proud of her,” he added. In July this year, Sonali had announced that she had been diagnosed with high-grade cancer via Instagram.
