Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut has not had a release this year after her film ‘Katti Batti’ released in 2015. She has, however, wrapped up the shooting of Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ opposite Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan and the film will release early next year. 2017 will be a busy year for her as another of her release, Hansal Mehta’s ‘Simran’ is also slated to release.
The actress had gone to USA to attend workshops for the film few weeks ago and pictures from her trip along with Mehta had made its way to the internet. Kangana has now set off for a full-fledged schedule for the film in USA and was snapped at the airport as she departed for the trip. The schedule is set to be for two months.
'Simran' will be shot in California and other parts of the USA. Reportedly, the film sees Kangana as a Gujarati housekeeper. Her character is of an ambitious girl who gets into the world of crime and the film is reportedly a story about a bank robber.
