An 8 herself on probably every fashion police’s grade sheet, Sridevi feels that her daughters, who are from the current generation, understand fashion better. When an entertainment website asked her if Khushi and Jhanvi ask for style tips from her, she said, “Well, I take inspiration from them. They guide me and I enjoy that. They are...Aaj ka hai (They are the new generation). They know better. They know what is in fashion. Sometimes you are in your own world. As a mother, I have other things to take. But, I enjoy asking them and we share. Sometimes, they ask me whether it looks good or not, what to change. The same way even I...we share each other's taste.”

Her upcoming thriller ‘Mom’, starring Akshaye Khanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Abhimanyu Singh, Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui, is slated for a July 7 release. The intriguing trailer of the film has created great amount of interest amongst audience.

Interestingly, Sridevi’s first child Jhanvi is also marking debut with a Karan Johar movie but we don’t know the name of the film yet. Some reports suggest she will debut opposite Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishan Khatter in the Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairat’ while others say, she will be the leading lady in the second instalment of 2012 blockbuster ‘Student of the Year’.

Just like any other mother in the world, Sridevi, too, is both nervous and excited for her daughter. “Yeh har maa ke andar hoti hai (It is the same with all the mothers). When any child is going to start a new career, you are nervous and you are excited. So it is basically all kinds of feelings put together and I'm feeling the same.”
