Irrfan Khan: I would love to be directed by Kangana, will do any role she offers

Mumbai: Irrfan Khan has a dry sense of humour, so much so that you may almost miss the joke.

So, the story goes that long ago Kangana Ranaut had refused a film opposite Irrfan because she did not want to play second fiddle.

She was vying for a far meatier role than the heroes.

To that, Irrfan had quipped that maybe Kangana was way out of his league and he would love to play the secondary role in any film where she was the “hero”.

And now that Kangana has decided to take the reins of direction, Irrfan has been sending out feelers to her. “I would love to be directed by her and play any role that she offers me,” he says.
