Exclusive: When Yami Gautam slapped her eve teaser and he couldn't retaliate

Yami Gautam will be essaying a role with grey shades in Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar 3. Talking about her character, Yami says, “I play Anu, who wants to avenge her father’s death from Sarkar (Amitabh Bachchan). The role has shades of grey and it’s the first time that I am doing something like this.”

Yami might appear to be shy, but when it comes to teaching a lesson, she won’t step back. The actress talks about a real-life incident, that took place many years ago. “It was on Valentine’s Day, when I was in Class X or XI. I used to travel in a rickshaw after my classes in Delhi. Some men on bike started following me that day, from the time I boarded the rickshaw. I usually never react to anything; I used to sit with a poker face. But he tapped me. I slapped the person on the bike, even while I was in the rickshaw. He couldn’t retaliate, and he just zoomed away,” she says.
