Mumbai: Who does not remember the 'Maine Pyar Kiya' actress Bhagyashree? Her character Suman and her innocence turned the flick into an evergreen one.
Now, get set to witness the talent of her son Abhimanyu Dassani. Phantom Films will be launching Abhimanyu in their upcoming quirky action comedy, titled 'Mard ko Dard Nahin Hota.'
The movie will be directed by Vasan Bala, the writer-director of 2012 crime-thriller 'Peddlers,' which was screened at Cannes as part of the 2012 International Critics' Week.
The film marks a synergy between Phantom film's Anurag Kashyap and his long time assistant Vasan Bala, who has been working with the film maker since 'Dev D.'
The film will also launch TV soap 'Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi' fame Radhika Madan on big screen. It also stars Tamil actor Vijay Sethupati in a key role.
With both actors undergoing rigorous training for a year, 'Mard ko Dard Nahin Hota' is going to have some never before seen hand combat action sequences.
Confirming the news Anurag Kashyap said, "Vasan has written a superbly funny & kick-ass martial arts film, the likes of which I have neither read nor seen. It's so local and so new that you can't help but marvel at it. And I am glad I get to produce it. We at Phantom, hope it becomes a never before seen franchise with these maddeningly crazy characters."...
