Mumbai: Actors and celebrities are a pretty superstitious bunch on the quiet – in fact they’re renowned for it. One of them is Karan Johar, who firmly believes that his lucky charm, a few actor friends, should be a part of his films.
After roping in Saif Ali Khan and Fawad Khan for special appearances in his upcoming directorial 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', he has now roped in close friend Kajol for a cameo.
In Karan's last outing, 'Student Of The Year' (2012), Kajol was seen shaking a leg in the 'Disco Deewane' track for mere 10 seconds. The actress will next be seen in her husband Ajay Devgn's film.
Karan is returning to the director's chair with this film after a gap of three years. The film which features Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles dwells on relationships and heartbreaks.
2015 didn't exactly prove fruitful for Ranbir whose last film 'Bombay Velvet' failed to rake in moolah at the Box Office. He did a cameo in 'Roy', which also bombed at the box office and Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha' did just about average business. However, this year, he will be seen in diverse avatars - a detective in Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos' and a romantic in Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.
On the other hand, Aishwarya will next be seen in 'Sarbjit' with Randeep Hooda and Anushka Sharma will be seen sharing screen space with Salman Khan in 'Sultan'.
