Eight people were killed and eleven more injured in a terror attack in New York’s Lower Manhattan on Tuesday. Mere hours after the accident, which killed cyclists and pedestrians before the truck being driven by the attacker ran into a school bus, actress Priyanka Chopra took to Twitter to share her thoughts. “Nyc.. As resilient as ever. I <3 u. My condolences to everyone affected by this tragedy.”
She also tweeted, “This happened 5 blocks from my home, As I drive back home from work, Dreary sirens remind me that this is the state of the world #nyc #peace”. The accident has been deemed as the first “act of terrorism” since September 11, 2001. The actress is in NYC busy shooting for the third season of Quantico.
