Saif Ali Khan announces Jawani Janeman under new production house Black Knight Films

Mumbai: Saif Ali Khan’s banner Illuminati Films along with business associate Dinesh Vijan, had produced some exciting films like Love Aaj Kal (2009), Cocktail (2012) and Go Goa Gone (2013). Later, the duo parted ways and Dinesh set up his own production house Maddock Films and now Saif has taken a similar route by launching his new production banner, which is called Black Knight Films. Saif's new production company will collaborate with Jay Shewakramani's Northern Lights for a film titled Jawani Janeman, that will be directed by Nitin Kakkar.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce the collaboration, he wrote, "IT'S OFFICIAL... Saif Ali Khan's Black Knight Films and Jay Shewakramani's Northern Lights Films join hands for their first venture together... Titled #JawaniJaneman... Directed by Nitin Kakkar... Starts 2019."

After completion of few important commitments, Saif’s new production house will start work from March 2019.

Saif, who is currently riding high on the success of Netflix show 'Sacred Games', will be next seen in Nikkhil Advani produced 'Baazaar' as well as director Navdeep Singh's 'Hunter'. The actor will also reprise his role as police officer Sartaj Singh for the second season of much-awaited Netflix show.
