Mumbai: There is an exciting development in the casting of Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming production Baaghi 2 starring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani.
After the news of Parteik Babbar joining the cast to play antagonist opposite Tiger, its been reported that Manoj Bajpayee will be seen playing a ‘character with a twist’ in this action thriller.
“Manoj really liked the script. He is also very fond of the casting director, Mukesh Chhabra, and director Ahmed Khan, who he has known since many years. Ahmed had choreographed him in Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya. He will start shooting for the film soon,” informs a source close to the development.
Baaghi 2 is a sequel to Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Baaghi that came in last year. Part 2 went on the floors on September 18 and wrapped up its first schedule late last month in Pune.
Sajid Nadiadwala’s spokeperson confirmed the news.
Baaghi 2 is set to release some time in next year.
